Helping Hands

I dont understand why people do not want to help others ... If they are asked to they will make excuses .. I m quite far, i have no time etc. etc. Every one in this world needs help some time or the other .. and it is related to the feeling and emotions you have for human kind to help .. If you decide to help someone, nothing can stop you. Its inside you and nothing else ...
Let me tell you a short story.. It seems to be a lil unrealistic but is of great help in understanding my point for view ...
An old man lived alone in Minnesota. He wanted to spade his potato garden, but it was very hard work. His only son, who would have helped him, was in prison. The old man wrote a letter to his son and mentioned his situation. Dear Son, I am feeling pretty bad because it looks like I won't be able to plant my potato garden this year. I hate to miss doing the garden, because your mother always loved planting time. I'm just getting too old to be digging up a garden plot. If you were here, all my troubles would be over. I know you would dig the plot for me, if you weren't in prison. Love, Dad Shortly, the old man received this telegram: "For Heaven's sake, Dad, don't dig up the garden!! That's where I buried the GUNS!" The next morning, A dozen FBI agents and local police officers showed up and dug up the entire garden without finding any guns.Confused, the old man wrote another note to his son telling him what happened, and asked him what to do next.His son's reply was: "Go ahead and plant your potatoes, Dad. It's the best I could do for you from here."
Moral of the Story :- NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE IN THE WORLD, IF YOU HAVE DECIDED TO DO SOMETHING DEEP FROM YOUR HEART, YOU CAN DO IT. IT IS THE THOUGHT THAT MATTERS NOT WHERE YOU ARE OR WHERE THE PERSON IS...

LIfe in a moment!!!!!!!!!!

We keep on thinking what has happened to us in past, our mistakes, sorrows, people's behaviour etc and keep worrying about our future, but we forget to live in present which we get only once .. The moment we are living right now will never come back... We normally forget that TODAY is the FIRST DAY of the rest of the life ... If you wont start living today, then u will regret this moment in future as we are doing now abt our past .. Forget past .... forget future ... Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment. Dream as you will live forever and live as u will die today ... The present moment is your life, what's going to happen next moment no one knows ... Today is life - the only life you are sure of.

That doesn't mean u leave everything like a happy-go-lucky kind of a person .. The only thing i want to point out is to live life in the moment, not only worry abt past and future ... Simple question urself .. If not now, then When???

Make the most of today. Live life so completely that when death comes to you like a thief in the night, there will be nothing left for it to steal.

Happiness!!!!

Man is fond of counting his troubles, but he does not count his joys. If he counted them up as he ought to, he would see that every lot has enough happiness provided for it. It is not very difficult to be happy, just need to have that vision which can see happiness in small things ... Many people wait for big things to happen, and hence ignore small things to get happiness... Happiness is not only in getting something we don't have, but to accept and appreciate what we have ... Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. It means that you have decided to look beyond imperfections ..

Happiness cannot be kept with oneself .. It shud be shared and once shared it is increased .. Thousands of candles can be lit by a single candle and the light of the candle will not get dim ...

Happiness is in your mind .. You need to be present and aware for grabing happiness in everything .. Truely said: It isn't what you have, or who you are, or where you areor what you are doing that makes you happy or unhappy. It is what you think about it.....
The foolish man seeks happiness in the distance; the wise grows it under his feet .. This means people think that if I achieve that particular level of satisfaction (no matter how far it is), then only I will be able to get happiness in my life, However it is possible to be happy with small things happening in life .. This doesn't mean that we shud loose focus towards our goal or take it lightly, but it means that while on the way to the goal we shud not be very tensed or tired, We shud find happiness near us to keep us light and energetic so that we can reach our goal ... Happiness increases positivity in mind and hence we can reach our goal ............

When i asked someone today abt happiness, she said : "its a dew in desert, money for begger, love for a lover, and success for learner, marks for student, it has different forms for me. its just like a smile on face n giggle in someone's heart because of me" ...

One more thing i would like to point out, It is not easy to find happiness in ourselves, and it is not possible to find it elsewhere ......

Finally, happiness is increased when shared, Its like a Kiss which when shared is enjoyed .......Keep smiling and spread it too ...............

Dream!!!!!!

"Dream is not the one which you see in sleep, DREAM is something which can't let you sleep" When we were a kid, we all were asked "what do we want to become", and then with no intention in mind of thinking what we are saying we say anything that comes to our minds .. Then when we grow up and understand things, we really want to become something, to do something, has all the excitement, enthu and strength to show this world .. Then when we grow older, we have all the resposibilities to fulfill and hence we do not work for ourselves ... And the common excuse we give is "TIME" .. However this is not time that matters but we have lost focus ............. To dream anything that you want to dream, that's the beauty of the human mind. To do anything that you want to do, that is the strength of the human will. To trust yourself to test your limits, that is the courage to succeed ... Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to do what u want to..... Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart ... Its you who have to live ur own life, no one else will come and make u understand what u need to do .. u need to be self motivated and u need to show the world that you are someone .. Its ur name which need to be shine.. and finally its you who can do it ...so when everything is related to you, why not dream too ... When you dream, U act to fulfil it ... and that act let u to ur destination.. Being a dreamer is not simple... It needs courage, when you see everyone is against you.. It needs patience when you see everything is going into vain.. It needs strength, when you want to put it into an Act .. It needs will power to convert the negatives into positives .. and finally it needs a lot of smile on the face to lessen frawns and increase expectation and belief in urself ..... At Last, I would like to repeat myself -- Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do.

Crazy Thoughts

We all are are busy these days i knw .. However, as we need few times for us ... Lemme tell you something, as a refreshment, quite funny but still meaningful if thought deeply .. I have a whole bunch of it but this is enough for now to think .. I dont want you to be tired of thinking all these ........
Here are some of the funny, crazy but meaningful questions and requires attention ...
1) If man evolved from monkeys and apes, why do we still have monkeys and apes?
2) Why doesn't Tarzan have a beard, though he was a jungle boy?
3) Why doesn't glue stick to the inside of the bottle?
4) Why is it lemon juice contains mostly artificial ingredients, but dishwashing liquid contains real lemons?
5) If "con" is the opposite of "pro," then what is the opposite of progress?
6) When I erase a word with a pencil, where does it go?
7) What would a chair look like if your knees bent the otherway?
8) Why are they called buildings, when they're already finished? Shouldn't they be called builts?
9) Why do scientists call it research when looking for something new? They are not re-searching it ...
10) If nobody buys a ticket to a movie do they still show it?
I m still trying to find the respective meaningful answers ... If you have it just lemmme knw ......

Smile Again!!!!!

Enough of gyan session these days .. Lets have some simple pass time so that u can smile and relax urself of a busy schedule ...
"One fine day, a bus driver went to the bus garage, started his bus, and drove off along the route. No problems for the first few stops - a few people got on, a few got off, and things went generally well. At the next stop, however, a big hulk of a guy got on. Six feet eight,built like a wrestler, arms hanging down to the ground. He glared at the driver and said, " Big John doesn't pay!" and sat down at the back.
Did I mention that the driver was five feet three, thin, and basically meek? Well, he was. Naturally, he didn't argue with Big John, but he wasn't happy about it. The next day the same thing happened - Big John got on again, made a show of refusing to pay, and sat down. And the next day, and the next. This grated on the bus driver, who started losing sleep over the way Big John was taking advantage of him. Finally he could stand it no longer. He signed up for body building courses, karate, judo, and all that good stuff.
By the end of the summer, he had become quite strong; what's more, he felt really good about himself. So on the next Monday, when Big John once again got on the bus and said, " Big John doesn't pay!" The driver stood up, glared back at the passenger, and screamed, " And why not?" With a surprised look on his face, Big John replied, " Big John has a bus pass."
The Moral behind this is not every person is bad .. Do not scare of strong people as they are not always meant to harm you ............... :)

The Other Side!!!!!!!

Do it! Move it! Make it Happen! No one ever sat their way to success

Why always me??? Why did God did this to me??? etc ... etc ... We can hear such complaints from every one who is undergoing a problematic situation ... This is a common tendency, people do not face the situation but try to complain and run from it ... In my opinion, God puts you in a situation which He knws that you can handle. It might seem difficult to you, coz you are looking at one side of the problem which looks complex and dangerous ... Guys... We are God's Children .. He cannot be that cruel or harsh on us ... He always provides a simple way to tackle with that tough situation.. The thing is we need to be smart enough to grab that opportunity .. We need to have that eye that can look towards the simple way .. There is always the other side to everything, which just requires a smart look and we are through ...
Lemme tell you a small story...............
“A Father was reading a magazine and his little daughter every now and then distracted him. To keep her busy, he tore one page on which was printed the map of the world. He tore it into pieces and asked her to go to her room and put them together to make the map again. He was sure she would take the whole day to get it done. But the little one came back within minutes with perfect map.
When he asked how she could do it so quickly, she said, 'Oh… Dad, there is a man's face on the other side of the paper. I made the face perfect to get the map right."" she ran outside to play leaving the father surprised.”
Friends, There is always the other side to whatever you experience in this world. This story indirectly teaches a lesson. That is, whenever we come across a challenge or a puzzling situation, look at the other side...You will be surprised to see an easy way to tackle the problem...
Smile now and be ready to face every situation in life with a positive energy and intelligent eye ...
Always visualize only favorable and beneficial situations. Use positive words in your inner dialogues or when talking with others. Smile a little more, as this helps to think positively. Disregard any feelings of laziness or a desire to quit ... Once a negative thought enters your mind, you have to be aware of it and endeavor to replace it with a constructive one. The negative thought will try again to enter your mind, and then you have to replace it again with a positive one. In case you feel any inner resistance when replacing negative thoughts with positive ones, do not give up, but keep looking only at the beneficial, good and happy thoughts in your mind.
